Christmas Party Makeup 4

Christmas Party Makeup

The festive season has arrived, bringing plenty of opportunities to dress up, sparkle, and enjoy a glass of bubbly. Whether you will be attending a work do, family gathering, or festive night out with friends, here are some Christmas party makeup tips that will help you look and feel fabulous:

  1. Add a bit of Sparkle

Nothing says Christmas like a little shimmer. Elevate your usual soft glam by simply adding a hint of silver or gold glitter to your eyelids. It’s a subtle yet festive way to transform your look into something extra for the season.

  1. Go Bold, Go Red Lip

A bold red lip is a Christmas classic! Whilst many of my clients typically prefer a softer shade, I always recommend trying something a bit brighter in the festive season. Pairing a simple, clean makeup base with a bold red lip can create a timeless elegant look. It’s the perfect way to bring a little holiday magic to your style.

  1. Don’t just be Cold, be Cool

Summer may be the season for bronzed gold and warm tones, but Christmas is the perfect time to embrace cool shades. Think silvers, icy blues, and soft pinks, paired with a pinkier blush for that wintery glow. Channel your inner 90s supermodel!

Lifestyle and Corporate 4

Teradata Conference Possible 2024

When you think of the corporate world you would not initially think of makeup or hair styling but I have seen a huge demand for corporate makeup and hair in the last year.
The rise in filmed content, online courses and zoom meetings has definitely increased demand for corporations to want their image to align with their amazing services and expertise.
A recent and exciting corporate project I worked on was the Teradata Conference Possible 2024. Makeup and hair was required for the key note speakers to make sure they are looking professional, groomed and looking the part on stage.
To achieve this look I focus on making sure the skin is looking flawless with a lightweight foundation/ concealer. Due to the strong lighting on stage I make sure the skin is matte with powder and a matte concealer to control any oils/ sweating. Hair I usually would do an appropriate style and to control fly always.
I look forward to more corporate work in 2025!
